Abstract
Introduction Every year, many people travel to the world different regions and visit attractive parts of various countries. When visitors enter a country, they should obviously pay some expenses. This process brings about economic boom for host countries. Therefore, tourism should be viewed from an economic perspective. Language is a bridge for the enhancement of scientific and cultural relations and exchanges. Scientific and industrial countries have been always a target in the mutual interactions. Such a basis emphasizes on the role of language learning as a social phenomenon in a society. Thus, if a person intends to go to other countries, learning a common language pattern and awareness of specialized words and expressions related to the social areas, jobs, and industries of the destination country are of great importance for him/her so that he/she can transfer common values and norms between two countries and grow his country and own economic power, if possible. This fact doubles the importance and necessity of preparing a specialized tourism terms dictionary (Persian-Arabic) for Iranian travelers intending to make a trip to Arab speaking countries.
