Abstract

Pollution enters in the soil to accumulate more heavy metals lead, cadmium, and zinc, lead and copper in soil. So the knowledge of how to behavior them and to clean and neutralize them chemically various ecosystem is essential. Environmental cleaning of high concentrations of lead, according to it's the toxic effects is important. One of the techniques over the last two decades, developed phytoremediation Where via cultivated plants for cleaning and removing pollutants from the soil is absorbed. Chelate agent for dissolving metals absorption by plants increases. Therefore, their use in phytoremediation can be important. In this study, the effect of DTPA on growth and heavy metal uptake of lead by the licorice plant was studied. Soil samples from around lead mine located in the North East city of Ghanat Marwan randomly collected from 0- 15 cm. The problems with sulfuric acid 98% germination, seeds were planted in pots containing soil contaminated with lead. Treatments with 4 replicates were used in 30 of the control (soil without chelate), 5DTPA, DTPA10. Data analysis was performed using SAS software. Concentration factor (BCF) and transfer factor (TF) was measured to determine the efficiency of plants and plant extracts. The results showed that the use of lead in plant tissues was significantly increased DTPA. The maximum concentration factor accumulation DTPA5 and DTPA10 treatments, respectively, and maximum transmission factors were in control DTPA5 And also plant wet weight factor, the concentration of lead in the roots, stems, lead, significant at the one percent and five percent. Lead parameters of soil, root length, shoot length, dry weight and total insignificant were treatment for phytoremediation of Pb DTPA -10 has the highest efficiency.
