Abstract

To study the Effects of Humic acid and manure on some properties of Isabgol (Plantagoovataforsk) under different irrigation regimes, an experiment was conducted at the Ramshar New Town, in February 2014. For this purpose a split- plot experiment based on completely randomized block design with tree replications was used. Four irrigation intervals (every 6, 12, 18 and 24 days) allocated in the main plots and sub plots on 5 levels: without manure, 40 ton/ha animal manure, 5 liters/ha Humic acid, 40 ton/ha animal manure +5 liters/ha Humic acid, 20 ton/ha animal manure + 2/5 liters Humic acid. The results showed that irrigation regimes, animal manure and Humic acid had significant effect on all measured traits. Such highest seed yield (467/25 kg/ha) was obtained in irrigation intervals of 6 days and lowest seed yield was obtained in irrigation intervals of 24 days. The highest seed yield (353/67 kg/ha) was obtained with application of 20 ton /ha animal manure + 2/5 liters/ha Humic acid. The results showed that combined use of animal manure with organic manure is positive effect on the yield of Isabgol.
