Abstract

Understanding of socio-economic and manage mental issues that will lead to the destruction of country’s natural resources, is essential and when this is worth to be examined regionally and locally. In this study, two types of private and collective utilization were investigated for recognition of socio-economic factors affecting rangelands degradation and identification of the role of utilization systems on rangelands degradation in Pars-Abad city, Ardabil province. Statistical society includes 120 beneficiaries from two utilization types and 6 custom applications named Sari Gheshlagh, Sari Ghoee, Amirkhanloo, Ahmadloo, Taherabad and Bozja. Methods of data collection were questionnaire and sampling the random assortment. For each type of utilization with 3 custom applications were completed 60 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 16. Results showed that the type of employment, type of operation, private transfer effect on reducing the degradation, the extent of competition between beneficiaries and the tendency to continue to ranching have the greatest impact on rangeland degradation. In private utilization, most important factor that reduces the amount of damage to pastures includes increased participation in reform and rehabilitation plans and uses educational services and promote awareness of Range Management plans. But in collective utilization system, Increase compliance rates of livestock arrival to rangeland and the amount of forage supply from non-pastoral sector, late leaving of livestock from rangeland, lack of high education and number of household members will lead to the destruction of rangelands, and factors such as the impact of the existed problems with adjacent custom applications custom application in plans revisiting, the amount of legal offenders and increase the amount of agricultural lands reduce the amount of collective rangelands destruction.
