Abstract
One of the main bases for paying attention to the sustainability of housing and reducing migration in planning and development in border areas, especially rural areas, is that the residents of these areas belong to their place of residence and activity. Sense of belonging to the concept of sense of place means people's mental perception of the environment and their more or less conscious feelings of their environment, which puts a person in internal relationship with the environment, so that the understanding and feelings of the person with the semantic context of the environment. It is linked and integrated. This feeling is a factor that turns a space into a place with special sensory and behavioral characteristics for special people. The statistical population of this study was rural residents living in cities in the skirt section and also based on Cochran's formula and sample size correction formula for households, 337 questionnaires were considered. Excel, ArcGIS, SPSS software, one-sample t-test and linear regression were used to analyze the data. The results of linear regression for the geosystem and increasing people's attachment to their homeland with respect to the significance level (0.000) which is less than 0.05, it can be said that the geosystem has an effect on increasing people's attachment to their homeland In this regard, using the regression method, it was found that based on the value of the beta coefficient calculated, the greatest effect of the geosystem with a value of the beta coefficient of 0.353 is on people's belonging.
