Abstract
Alongside the category of narrative, time is one of the newest debates that structuralist theorists have spoken of; Gerarget is the most prominent figure in French narrative analysis of five features. 1 - order 2 - continuity 3 - frequency 4 - form 5 - sound or tone. Koush's book The Name of Hakim Iranshah is one of the epic books compiled by Jalal Matini and is the story of Pilgosh tooth cell life. This research aims to better understand the type of narrative in epic stories and to study the structure of Koshnameh stories. Wise Iranshah has been studied from the perspective of narrative time. In this descriptive-analytical study, it is attempted to investigate the components of time (order, continuity, and frequency) based on Genetic theory. The results indicate that frequency is one of the most widely used narrative techniques in Koshnameh because repetition is an important time component of narrative story that is more in line with Genetic Narrative Theory.
