Abstract

In many developed countries, agricultural products are supported by government, it is expected by decreasing of this country support in format of committed policies of international trade organization, the price of agricultural products in international market increased . The aim of this investigation is study of the effective factors on agricultural sector employment. In this study, the role of increasing the price of agricultural products in agricultural sector employment has been studied by using Vector Auto Regressive techniques (VAR) and vector Error Correction Model (ECM) and annual data of 1360-1392. The results of Youhanson test conforms the existence of Long-term equilibrium relationship between the explanatory variables and agricultural employment variable. Also, tests such as analysis of variance and immediate reaction techniques was carried out on variables of this study and finally by using Toda and Yamamoto tests the Granger causality relationship between index of agricultural products price and agricultural employment has been studied. The results showed that there is a one-way causality relationship from index of agricultural products price to agricultural employment.
