Abstract

Undoubtedly, green areas and urban parks should be considered among the most basic factors of natural and human life resistance in modern urbanization. If they planed correctly, they would have desire effect in purification of man’s body and emotions. Green areas and urban parks are one of the most important recreational facilities-services centers that in spite of having sanitary and mental aspects, they have the high importance in municipal sustainable development; As a result, their distribution is so important in the urban area. In this study, we have investigated the green area of Feyz Abad, which is one of the cities of Khorasan-e-Razavi province. The type of study is practical-developmental and the method of present study is descriptive-analytical. The collection of required data and information for recognizing of the green area situation was done by using field and library researches and questionnaire. The sample volume was selected 10 people based on Delphi method. Then, the digitization of data and data base making occurred. The spatial Analyst extension was applied for weighting, reclassifying of layers, and modulation of weighted layers. The weighting of investigated indexes was performed by Delphi method and eventually, the best location plan was obtained for the construction of green area using Fuzzy Linear and Fuzzy Gamma functions. Results exhibit that the green area capacitation of Feyz Abad is 3.60 m2. Nevertheless, the distribution of existing green area capacitation is not moderate and appropriate to the extent and the popularity of city zones and sustainable urban development. This situation is so far from global and national standards and reasonable planning is essential for optimal distributing and locating of green area including the novel parks locating in this city.
