Abstract
With regard to industrial importance of castor and increasingly global demand for products of this crop, in addition potential of Sistan and history of this region in the field of agriculture this study was conducted to evaluate ecological Sistan of Sistan. Evaluated ecological factors were latitude, longitude, altitude, water resources and quality indicator of water including, salinity, TDS, hardness, pH, chlorine lonantration in water, characteristics of soil including soil texture, structure, salinity, pH, characteristics of water including temperature, wind, radiation, evaporation, relative humidity, day to frost , in addition, compare of castor yield with other crops. Results indicated Sistan regarding weather is suitable for cultivation of castor, furthermos as regard to low demand of water and low requirements of castor cultivation, of this crop is recommended.
