Abstract

In this research ،the narrative structure of Nasrullah Munshi's translation of Kelileh and Demneh's translation and Mohammad Bukhari's short-legged stories based on Labov and Waltzki's model have been investigated. From these two translations, eleven common stories and smaller narratives that have been narrated in the way of the story within them were selected to compare the two works. Its purpose is to study and adapt the narrative structure of the two translations of Kelileh and Demneh based on the model of Labov and Waltzki. In this research, descriptive-analytical method is used to compare and compare two Persian texts (Kelileh, Demneh, and Bidpay stories) according to the narrative structure. Finally, it was concluded that in general, the method of narration in the two works is in accordance with the hexagonal pattern of Labau and Waltzky. And in more detailed cases, there are differences, such as: abstract removal, integration of orientation with knotting, scope of evaluation and the absence of knot and untying and terminal. Also, all the existing clauses serve the two functions of "referral" and "evaluation", which were stated by Labov and Waltzki.
