Abstract

Today, diseases caused by water pollution is the cause of death. Water pollution is the contamination with toxic metals. Heavy metals are not only water and human life are strongly affected, rather Soil pollution is exacerbated, As in the case of metal contamination of arable land, lose their value. Also Heavy metals can move underground and causing to groundwater pollution. Entry of heavy metals into the soil due to the accumulation of soil, Absorbed by plants and groundwater contamination is important. The study of heavy metal concentrations of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn in the discharge of wastewater into the Temby river of Masjed-E-Soleyman done. This study was conducted in 2012-2013. Monthly sampling of water and sediment from upstream and downstream was taken. Samples were transported to the laboratory. Concentration was determined by atomic absorption. The results is showed that Temby river is polluted.
