Abstract
Facilitation is a set of skills, tools, and methods that allow one to: exchange and make decisions with the participation of all members to achieve their goals, or solve their common problem. In Sistan, more than 50% of the population lives in villages, and, given the perennial drought and the decline in agricultural production and rural income, the need to pay attention to rural entrepreneurship is felt. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the performance of rural entrepreneurship facilitation in Hamoon County. The research method was descriptive-survey and data collection tool was a questionnaire. The statistical population under study in this study was 69 villages with rural municipality, all of whom were selected by census method. These 69 villages had 6968 households and 367 households were selected by cluster random sampling using Cochran formula. Data were analyzed by appropriate statistical tests and SPSS software. The results showed that entrepreneurial facilitating performance was medium. Also, the most important challenges facing the rural governors’ entrepreneurship facilitation function are the managerial and structural barriers, and the most important factors for improvement and effectiveness of the rural governors’ entrepreneurship facilitation function were individual and contextual factors.
