Abstract
Allusion is one of the important array of Persian poetry and is one of features that poet use it to complement fancy effects and to enrich imagery in his poetry. Kamal al-din Ismail Isfahani has also paid attention to the use of allusions in his poems. This study done with the aim of better understanding of lyrics of Kamal al-din Ismail Isfahani, and different kinds of allusions in his poem has been extracted and classified and it is tried to analyze allusion in the Kamal al-din poems by descriptive-analytic method. In order to do this, first, attention has been paid to the definition and context of its formation and it’s variants will be introduced in the lyrics of Kamal al-din. The results showed that Kamal al-din Isfahani used different kinds of allusion to enrich his poems lingustically and meaningfully, but use of religious allusion has been more significant and it indicates that when he steps down in the area of meaning cultivation and deliver his heart from the eulogy trap, eliminates the tiredness of greed to the trivial commends with the pure water of verses and hadiths and redresses his inner voice.
