Abstract

Many species of parasitic worms enter the host's blood flow, until they reach certain organs and become mature. Parasites are usually found in the blood for only a few minutes or hours. therefore, they are rarely seen in blood samples taken to identify. However, there are some nematodes (Filariidae) in which their babies (microfilaria) are found in the blood. Microfilaria remain in the blood flow, so that they are degenerated by the host of the blood interface. Microfiller in the blood of infected animals plays a role. It has an important role in controlling and eradicating the diseases associated with them. Need to find out, sensitive, and quick diagnostic methods have nowadays grown to more effectively study the details of microfillers. In this research, 149 cows were randomly selected from the Sistan region in the winter and spring of 1395-1396 for blood microfillers. Blood samples taken from them and were collected in EDTA-containing tubes. In this study, Knott test was conducted to determine the prevalence of microfiller in cows in the region. The results of this study show that the low sensitivity of Knott test to detect blood microfilter in cattle has been studied by other researchers and or there is a tendency to some kind of microfilaria in the blood.
