Abstract
Nowadays, regarding the non-observeability of the local urban planning, identity crisis and whatever is going on in the wider and deeper level ocured in our cities. In the same line, symbols of urban infrastructure in cities or important eras, in terms of architecture and design, are inside the city. Also our experience in the domain of a contract between the citizens, even to the manner of the time, are meaningful. The significance of the effects of structure’s extraction seems more to the cites because it reflects the citie’s personality and identity. So, the goal of the current study was to examining the role of urban symbols in the development and advancement of the status of the Zabol city.To achieve this purpose, the data collected through detailed studies ,through a library research and the use of the documents and view and harvest field. GIS software and PUA techniques was used to analyzing the data.The results indicated that people are the main components of the historical symbols that had effective role in the development of the position of Zabol city
