Abstract
In this study, we studied Taxonomic of subfamily Opiinae (Hym. Braconidae) in alfalfa fields in East of Iran. Sampling has been carried out during 2012- 2013. All samples are collected by standard sweeping net. Totally, 500 samples were collected and isolated from each other base on morphological characters. Sample placed on plates of triangular plaque for identification and prepared slides from antenna, fore wing, hind wing, hind leg, ovipositor, and mandible. Then take photos from different parts of samples bodies by Pixelink uScope digital camera. During this study, 9 species belonging 5 genera identified including: Biophthora nigricolor, Opius (Opiothorax) Levis, Opius (Opiothorax) magnicauda, Opius (Allophlebus) nigricolor, Opius (Opius) pallipes, Opius (Allophlebus) tabificus, Opiognathus propodealis, Utetes truncates and Xynobius decorates. Biophthora nigricolor, Opius (Allophlebus) nigricolor and Opiognathus propodealis are new record for Iran fauna. Identification key to species is provided.
