Abstract
The concrete-wooden beam is a sandwich composite that wood is placed at upside and down side of the concrete. In this study, the concrete-wooden composite beams are produced by using the tangential boards of Russian wood (dimensions of 100*5*2.5 cm). The concrete reinforced by nail and wire. Two arrangement types of concrete-wooden composite beams include one side of the timber and opposite side concrete and also, the two side timbers and concrete center. . Nails (no. 4 and 5) with 3cm and 5cm spacing between them were used to composites of wood and concrete. The nails were hammered in 1.5cm depth into the boards. After constructing the wooden-concrete composite poles, their mechanical properties (bending (3 pointed bending) and bending strength, MOE (modulus of elasticity) and Work at proportional Limit (WPL) measured. The results have shown that beams with nailing spaces of 3cm, and the concrete height of 5cm, and the arrangement of two side timbers have the best mechanical properties. While beams with one sided timber, nailing spaces of 5cm, and the concrete height of 10cm have shown the least mechanical strength. The poles of concrete-wooden composite have shown a non-linear behavior in break.
