Abstract
One of the most important and widely used literary geners in the field of children’s literature is the category of fantasty. A gener that allows the author to engage the audience with amazing experieces by creating an imaginative, scary and magical atmosphere. In many fictional and imaginative stories , living and inanimate characters always obscure some of the children’s thoughts or inner desires in the form of their own charecters and appear in the story in adifferent and new way. Mohammad Atiyeh Al-Abrashi (1897) is a Egyptionwriter. By writing his children’s stories , he has created a variety of works in the field of Fantasty , in which many of the functions of fiction and fantasy literature can be Seen in his stories . In the present research , an attempt is made to study differentFancy types in the stories of Mohmmad Atiyeh Al-Abrashi by relying on the Descriptive – analytical method. After examining the stories of Mohammad Atiyeh Al-Abrashi on the levels of character and fantasy signs , the initial results indicate that in these stories , the sign of amazing animal and trickery and metamorphosis is more frequent.
