Abstract
The preferment of physical desirability and environmental quality of human settlement are the fields which should be mentioned in the people’s welfare and common policy studies. So one of the most important fields in the analyzing the position of rural settlement is paying attention to the skeletal and environmental position of them. The present study investigates the physical desirability and environmental quality of the villages in central part of Fassa and then will investigate the effective factors in the preferment of the present situation. The present study is a descriptive and analytic study in which 38 villages with the population more than 20 families will be studied. There are many parts in the data collection, which are important in the skeletal and environmental terms. So the persons who had a vital rule in this study are native Experts, Islamic Council members. The hierarchy analytic methods (AHP) and (ArcGIS) are used aimed to analyzing the data achieved from the questionnaires and the Form field observations. The results show 29 percent of villages have a qualified environmental level and 26/4 percent of them do not have. In the case of physical desirability level the values are 23/7 and 39/5 percent. In addition, the statistical analyzing shows a meaningful relation between the physical desirability and environmental quality of the studied villages.
