Abstract
Ecological sustainability in agricultural systems has attracted the attentions of researchers, in recent years. The aim of this study was to compare the ecological sustainability of fruit production among farmers sponsored and non-sponsored by the cooperatives in the Saveh city. The population of the study was 100 pomegranate gardener in Saveh city which was selected based on probability rondom sampling. The method of the study was survey method and its validity was determined by experts. Information relating to production systems, including socioeconomic measures, production, fertilizers and chemicals, water and irrigation, and mechanization of plowing, managing pathogens and diversity of the product was analyzed. The results showed that 55.27 rating support the mean score (61.26) stability of farmers and farmers' cooperatives. Which indicates that the production systems in the region systems are relatively stable. Most scores (from 100 points) index of stability management measures and minimum pathogens, mechanization of plowing, fertilizer and chemical, and irrigation water for ecological production systems were pomegranates.
