Abstract
Information Technology and Communications (ICT) in Worldwide has been proposed as the main axis of the development of the third millennium, that with little hesitation, we find to the dramatic impact of information technology and its powerful tools, including Internet and Electronic Post on human life, especially in the today cities. Therefore, can be defined Existence this technology (Information and Communications) in the city as an Electronic City. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the capabilities of Zabol to the realization of electronic city. In this study have been addressed to analyses the existing facilities and infrastructure shortcomings in Zabol city. This research, from viewpoint of data collection methods and the nature is the type descriptive – analytical research and based on library studies and from viewpoint objective aspects is applied. To data analysis from Statistical analysis software, neural network, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and finally the ARC GIS software were used. The results of this study show that the potential for the realization of Electronics city and compliance with existing standards is in a good condition. But from viewpoint knowledge of the citizens about the Electronic city and the use of electronically exchanges is an inappropriate condition.
