Abstract
The extensive use of groundwater resources because of its high quality in recent years is spread globally contaminated water. Currently, there are two basic approaches to protect the underground water resources, included ground water Vulnerability Assessment and mapping underground water resources quality. The optimal management of water resources and maintain and improve their quality requires data on the location and amount of water chemical elements in a certain geographic area. This study was conducted to evaluate And zonation the spatial quality of groundwater Marvdashat plain in the 5-year period of 2007 to 2011 By using Geographic Information System (GIS). For statistical analysis of data including mean, minimum, maximum, Range of variation, and correlation between water quality characteristics in these fields was performed using SPSS and Excel soft wares. Then groundwater zonation by using GIS for agricultural purposes was performed were compared with Wilcox graph, for TDS, TH, % Na were compared with WHO standards and for quality of drinking water, the anions and cations were compared with WHO standards. The results show that in the period studied, EC and SAR are reduced. Calcium, potassium, magnesium increased. Improvement of the TH was observed in the Study period.
