Abstract

In this systematic research, the flies of the Asilidae family were studied in Kerman province during 1397 to 1398. The samples were collected using malaise trap and insect net, and the bottles containing the samples were emptied in the trap every two weeks. The collected samples were prepared using the AXA standard method. Species identification was done based on differential morphological characteristics and using valid identification keys and original descriptions. A total of 20 species belonging to 13 genera and 7 subfamilies were collected and identified, among which two species are Theurgus evenhuisi Mohebban & Gharali, 2024 sp.nov. and Nusa kermani Mohebban & Gharali, 2024 sp.nov. were new to the world. The identification key was presented at the level of family, genus and species, and the images of the species and their geographical distribution in the world and Iran are shown based on the available source. The list of collected species is as follows. 1- Apoclea algira (Linnaeus, 1767) 2- Philodicus Ponticus (Bigot, 1880) 3- Philodicus spectabilis Loew, 1871 4- Promachus griseiventris Becker in Becker & Stein, 1913 5- Satanas gigas (Eversmann, 1855) 6- Dasypogon diadema (Fabricius, 1781) 7- Dasypogon magisi Tomasovic, 1999 8- Theurgus evenhuisi Mohebban & Gharali, 2024 sp.nov. 9- Andrenosoma farsicola Tomasovic & Saghaei, 2009 sp. nov. 10- Laphystia latiuscula Loew, 1871 11- Nusa kermani Mohebban & Gharali, 2024 sp. nov. 12 -Leptogaster cylindrica (De Geer, 1776) 13- Leptogaster guttiventris Zetterstedt, 1842 14- Ommatius tenellus Wulp, 1889 15- Stenopogon heteroneurus (Macquart, 1839) 16- Stenopogon nigriventris Loew, 1868 17- Stichopogon albellus Loew, 1856 18- Stichopogon chrysostoma Schiner, 1867 19- Stichopogon elegantulus 20- Stichopogon schineri Koch, 1872
