Abstract
The short or minimal short story is one of the genres of stories that have attracted the attention of writers in recent times, which are based on the elements of brevity and simplicity. Children are our future capitals. The authors of children's stories have also used minimal elements in their stories and by removing unnecessary elements. They can be effective in conveying the content to children and their education, which can make reading the story interesting for children due to the elements of the minimal story. In this thesis, first, the most important components of the short story such as: volume, character, dialogue, events, plot, simplicity Sentences, introduction, scene, theme and content in fifty Arab children's literature stories from five Arab writers have been equally discussed And the minimalistic elements in the stories have been read separately and then each of the elements of the minimal story in these stories have been analyzed separately and then these stories were compared with each other from the minimalistic perspective. In the reviewed stories, Zakaria Tamer's stories are more minimal than the rest of the writers. Finally, it must be said that in these stories, the writers have been able to express the minimal elements in their stories
