Abstract
One of the most important theories of personality development in the field of psychology belongs to Erik H. Erikson. His "theory of personality development" provides a suitable division from the point of view of psychology and the evolution of people's personality. Stories are among the tools and factors that are indirectly effective in raising children, and they can be referred to as a means of transmitting customs, traditions, civilization, inculcating tendencies, opinions, and values. Therefore, the child's personality is formed through stories. According to the great importance of children's literature, the authors of this field have heavy responsibilities. Fazlullah Mohtadi and Fariba Kalhor are two writers who have left lasting names in the field of Iranian children's literature. With a new beginning in the field of radio storytelling, Mohtadi and Kalhor have stabilized this path and improved its quality with their works. The writer is trying to analyze Erikson's eight stages in the children's stories of Fariba kalher and Fazullah Mohtadi in a descriptive-analytical way. The results of the research indicate that the stories of Fariba Kalhor and Fazullah Mohtadi are in accordance with stages one to six of Erikson's theory. Both authors have tried to teach children the ways of character development in a symbolic and direct way; with the difference that Fazullah Mohtadi's emphasis is on the third stage, i.e. initiative, and Fariba kolhar's emphasis is on the first stages, i.e. hope, and the sixth stage, i.e. intimacy against isolation, and this can be rooted in the female and male perspective, each through lived experience. They try to convey concepts to their audience.
