Abstract

One of the topics raised in the field of discourse analysis is the category of "meta-discourse". Meta-discourse is a term for calling meta-linguistic possibilities to create relationship in discourse. Hyland's concept is one of the most complete models of metadiscourse with two dimensions of composition and exchange. Exchange metadiscourse is used to organize propositional information. In meta-discourse, the writer-reader takes help from markers to participate in the discussion. Magazines are one of the most important media in which metadiscourse plays a significant role. In the meantime, "Al-Hosseini Al-Sagher" Children's Assembly is one of the most up-to-date magazines that addresses children and teenager. Since the communication between the author/creator of a literary or artistic work and the audience is considered to be the main goal in the field of children's and teenagers' media and in line with educational and educational goals, examining the metadiscourse aspects of children's and teenagers' specialized magazines is of particular importance. In this research, based on the descriptive-analytical method, the possibilities of various meta-narratives in two exchange fields and factors in 40 issues of al-Hosseini al-Saghir magazine have been investigated. The obtained results indicate that the authors/artists of this magazine, in the field of meta-discourse, have paid attention to all meta-discourse strategies; But interactive strategies have been used more in these magazines compared to exchange strategies. Among the interactive indicators, interlocutors and self-statements have the highest frequency with the aim of creating a close relationship with the readers in order to involve them in the text and increase the believability of their words by the readers. Also, among the exchange markers, propositions have been used with the highest frequency for coherence in the text to better understand the subject and guide them to the interpretation intended by the authors.
