Abstract
Repetition creates balance and music in the language of poetry and highlights its meanings and reveals the poet's interest in a point or issue. Simin Behbahani, a famous contemporary poet, has also tried to achieve the main goal and purpose of his poem by using repetition, which is the expression of the meanings and content of the poem with an aesthetic expression. Therefore, in this research, the descriptive-analytical method of repetition in the poems of Simin Behbahani has been studied. The findings of this study show that different types of repetition are used in different ways, especially repetition at the level of phoneme, word, syllable and phrase in an artistic way in Simin's poetry. Accordingly, this dissertation is organized in the section of reviewing Simin Behbahani's poems in four levels of phoneme, syllable, word and phrase (sentence). Repetition has a more prominent role in Simin Behbahani's collection of poems, and in addition to its musical richness, it has influenced the semantic aspect of the poem, especially the discussion of emphasis and emotional impact.
