Abstract

Grotesque is a manifestation of the chaotic human world, which, due to the inability of humans to understand its hardships, is represented in fictional works with an expression of confusion and anxiety along with bitter and terrifying laughter. The purpose of this research is to show the grotesque elements of the cursed works of the moon and scorpion of the wind by Nazanin Jodet, Jannameh and my small prayer room by Hoshang Golshiri, the time of guilt and fearlessness by Mohammad Reza Katib. This research was done by analytical-descriptive method and based on library notes. The results indicate that the component of fear was the most prominent in the works of all three authors In addition to this, Nazanin Judet has the components of horror, fear and loneliness, creating atmosphere and atmosphere, contradiction and ambiguity, unusual physical characteristics, disgusting and violent themes and the use of women as a tool. She has used it in her works, and Hoshang Golshiri has also reflected on the components of contradiction and contradiction, fear and horror, superstition and illusions, inconsistency, violence and cruelty in her novels Jannameh and My Small Prayer Room. And the writer has used the components of strange images, inconsistency, contradiction and conflict, grotesque atmospheres, violence and cruelty, grotesque horror elements in her novel. Among all three writers, Nazanin Judet has used grotesque elements the most in her novels Cursed by the Moon and Aqrab Bad
