Abstract
Postmodernist novels refer to a special type of contemporary novels This type of novels consists of various trends Although these novels generally have common goals, they have significant differences with each other. As one of the most common types of postmodern stories, metafiction is a technique in which the narrator refers to the story-writing process throughout the story. By entering the text of the story, the author tries to inform the reader that the story is fictional. Baha Taher is a prominent and innovative contemporary Egyptian writer, novelist, translator and journalist who has a postmodernist approach in some of his novels. Baha Tahir tries to bring his writings closer to metafiction with various techniques Based on the descriptive-analytical method, this research examines the authors of postmodernism and metafiction in the novels "Waha Al-Ghroub" and "Al-Hab Fi Al-Manfi". This research has investigated the methods used by Baha Taher to create the metafiction in these novelsThis research shows that Baha Taher activates the reader's mind with techniques such as the narrator's explicit reference to story writing, addressing the audience, description, the presence of real historical figures in the story, the integration of fantasy and reality, and giving information about the book and its author. Baha Tahir has well managed to create a superstition
