Abstract
Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (RA) is one of the most important support organizations in the country, which was established to support poor families, poor women and reduce their deprivation. Empowerment of supported clients as the only way out of the poverty cycle has always been the focus of the Relief Committee. The purpose of this study is to diagnose the actions of the Relief Committee in empowering rural households in Hamoon county in Sistan region. The method of the present research will be descriptive-analytical and based on the study of documentary sources and field studies (by completing questionnaires of households and local experts). The statistical population of the study includes households covered by the relief committee living in the villages of this county. Hamoon county has four villages with 9030 households which were determined as a sample size of 369 households using Cochran's formula and for analyzing information and data from SPSS, Excel, Arc GIS, Expert Choice software. used. According to the results of the one-way analysis of variance test, it can be found that based on the sig value which is 0.868 is greater than 0.05 at the 95% confidence level of the quality of the relief committee's actions in empowering rural households among rural There is no difference between different Hamoon countyes and the level of effectiveness of the Relief Committee's payment facilities in empowering the covered families is less than average. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Relief Committee payment facilities is considered below average and among the indicators of factors affecting the inefficiency of the Relief Committee actions, the weakness index in monitoring with a beta coefficient of 1.058, the most impact and the index of lack of knowledge and experience with a beta coefficient 0.637 had less effect on the inefficiency of the relief committee in empowering rural households
