Abstract

Salmonella is one of the main health and economic problems in industrialized countries and salmonellosis is one of the most common common diseases in the world. Meat and meat products can play an important role in the spread of salmonellosis in humans. The aim of this study was to investigate the contamination of slaughtered chicken meat with Salmonella bacteria using Biotechnical test (PCR) in stuffed chicken in Zabol. A total of 1 swab samples from the stuffing chicken machine and 100 samples of slaughtered chickens were collected from 10 stuffed chicken chickens in Zabol. The collected samples were transferred to the laboratory under sterile conditions. And cultured in brain broth neutrinos. A total of 6 samples from 100 cultured samples were positive, of which 2(2%) samples were related to slaughtered chicken samples and 4 (40%)samples were swaps collected from stuffing machines. After biochemical analysis of isolated bacteria, DNA was extracted from the isolates. The PCR was then performed for the invA gene (genus). The present study found that the prevalence of Salmonella in stuffed chickens in Zabol is high.
