Abstract

As a policy school to macro/micro planning at a regional scale the strategic management has a significant role to reduce the socio economic inequalities and promoting of development condition. Premeditated plans resulted from strategic management which are supplied, formulated and implemented timely, correctly and properly lead the region /country towards most highly successes. Now, livestock and domestic animals economy becoming one of the main pillars of the world trading economy and people’s daily lives. Moreover, many development planners and policy makers consider the livestock industry as a main bulk to sustainable development. On the way of regional/national development and also creation of economic diversity livestock, as a significant part of agriculture sector, is able to play an effective role by pertinent principal planning procedure and introducing of advantages/limitations of the part. Hence, the question raises here is: which are the potentials/limitations of livestock development? On the other word: what strategies will develop the livestock industry and cause regional/national development? The present thesis aims to suggest strategic recommendations concerning the development of livestock industry in the region of Sistan & Baluchestan by adopting of the recent academic methodologies such as; case study implementation, surveying the on ground facts, field studies and the style of SWOT which introduces the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the industry. Experimental analyses in the region exhibit a high degree of vulnerability and prove the demand to revision and provision of suitable policies intending to eliminate the restrictions and use of comparative available advantages.
