Abstract

With the growth and development of cities, the information needed for urban management and planning has increased dramatically and becomes more complex. One of the most important problems in the cities of the country is the inappropriate placement of sports facilities among other urban uses, so that many people in the community due to lack of access to them can not solve them properly and use sports venues. Planning and management of location and organization of sports spaces is needed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and organize sports venues and spaces for the development of Zabol city and this study is based on a combination of descriptive-analytical methods and based on library, documentary and field studies and the statistical population of this study in Zabol city. Data analysis will be performed using ARAS decision model and ARC GIS software. The results show that in the Duncan Test Sustainable Development Index, two groups have been identified that District 5 in the first group has the lowest value and Area 2 in Group 2 has the highest score in the Sustainable Development Index in the impact of sports venues on sustainable development indices. The ranking of the five districts of Zabol city in terms of evaluation and organization of sports venues using the multi-criteria ARAS decision-making model shows that the fourth district has the highest and the two districts have the lowest utility with effective indicators. It is located on the sports places of Zabol city.
