Abstract
There are a number of issues in linguistics, among which the main ones can be related to issues related to speech theory. This theory shows that the expression of some sentences is not what we are doing, but the action itself or part of the action we intend to do. Austin and Searle's Theory of Speech Actions was first proposed by Austin in 1940, and subsequently Searle's speech acts were divided into five categories: expressive, persuasive, affective, accusative, and declarative. It is one of the poets of the late fourth and early fifth centuries, unfortunately unaware of his life and works, except for the enriched poem of Shekheh and Golshah, written in a mutually exclusive manner. Another great poet, Dehlavi, is one of the prominent poets of the seventh century AH, a native of the Indian subcontinent, who has been proficient in the field in various respects because of his thorough knowledge of Persian poetry and language. One of his most notable works is Majnun and his Lily, which is a mimicry of the military lily and insane. The present descriptive-analytical research, entitled, Investigating Speech Actions in Majnoon and Lily Amir Khosro Dehlavi, Sheet and Golshah Aivogi Based on Austen and Searle's Theory, examines the interactions in these two works by two eminent poets of literature. Farsi pays. The results of the study indicate that speech action theory has both effects, and both poets have used this theory to advance their narrative. But, in the story of Sheet and Golshah, given the type of text and weight used to be epic, this theory is more applicable.
