Abstract

Sensory is one of the visualization techniques in which matters related to one sense are mixed with matters and dependencies of another sense. This artistic technique is important in literary works in three ways: 1. Linguistically, it creates new and fresh compounds and thus leads to language development. 2. In terms of meaning, the combination of sensory matters with. another sense, especially with the sense of sight, causes objectification and ultimately a better and easier understanding of meaning. 3. Aesthetically, beautiful and obvious images are provided through the fusion of the senses. Asir Shahrestani is one of the most prominent poets of the 11th century AH in the field of Indian style. In this research, which has been done with the aim of recognizing and explaining the lyric poems of the studied poet, an attempt has been made to study the lyric poems of this poet in a descriptive-analytical manner in terms of sensory application. For this purpose, sensibility in three forms of rhetoric, grammar and combination of senses in the poems of this poet were studied. The result of this study shows that sensuality has made the Asir poems of the city more effective and imaginative. And the combination of the two senses of sight and vision has the highest frequency.
