Abstract
Artistic Attributes are literary tools or descriptive phrases that poets and writers have used it to describe characters, animal or objects , as well as to express their emotions and feelings. This poetic method which is sometimes in the field of Eloquence and illustrative elements and sometims in the field of linguistic and grammatical issues, is one of the important factors of beauty, prominence and attention in the language of poetry. These types of attributes are more prominent in epic poems because the epice of long narratives are usually poems that have been written in a heroic language and the author of such poems gives a special beauty to the characters of the story by bringing an artistic attributes. If these attributes are new and innovatives, they give an objective, pictorial and tangible aspect to the poet ̓s words. In this paper which was done descriptive – analytical manner with the aim of recognizing and introducing the characteristics of Persian religious epics works as well as possible, I have studied and expressed these attributs in two books: khavaran Nameh byʺ Ibn Hesam khosfiʺ and Hamleye Heidari byʺ Bazel Mashhadiʺ the results of these researches show that artistic attributes are used in the studied work in the forms of expressive attributes, similie, metaphors, ironies and exaggeration and these attribute has a higher frequsency in khavaran Nameh with a larger volume of the book as well as the dominance of expressing epic features such as imagery, description of persons, tools and scenes of war.
