Abstract

In recent decades, psychological critique in the analysis of literary texts has been highly regarded by critics and literary theorists. one of the basic issues in psychology, which is one of the most important and basic foundations of psychology, is personality psychology. In fact, psychology determines the personality, characteristics, attributes and factors affecting the processes of thinking, excitement and behavior to the normal or abnormal of humans and seek to analyze the causes of human behavior in various situations. Many theories in the field of psychology of personality have been presented, which Abraham Maslow's Abraham Maslow theory is one of these theories. The theory divides the stages of the development and development of characters according to the various needs of man into five stages, which include physiological needs, security, attachment and love, self-esteem, selfperfection needs, and perfection. According to this theory, the process of meeting needs is a dynamical process dependent on the relative fulfillment of the prior need. Based on the descriptive-analytical method and adaptive view, the present research tries to address the various psychological and developmental aspects of the characters of the "empty vacations" of the works of Mahmoud Dolatabadi and "Baykhaye-yeor" of Hanamina by Abraham's view. Check out Maslow. The results show that the characters of the two novels do not have the ability to reach the stage of perfection and self-actualization due to the rural environment and the inappropriate social conditions, and they remain in the early stages of the needs.
