Abstract
The faunistic survey on prostigmatic mites(Acari: Prostigmata) associated with tamarix trees in Sistan region was carried out during the years 2016-2017. Soil, leaf-litter and plant foliages tamarisk trees from different parts of Sistan were collected and transported to the laboratory.. Mites from sample were extracted by Berlese funnels. Collected mites were cleared in Lactophenol and Nesbitt’s fluids and mounted in Hoyer’s medium on microscopic slides. In this study, 23 specimens from 7 genera belonging to 9 families were identified. Among identified specimens, 4 species(*) are new records for science.
