Abstract
The crop insurance system is an efficient method for decreasing the risk of activity in this field, which always has been seeking to improvement and increasing the economic efficiency in the agriculture field, through encouraging farmers to insure their crops. Prosperity and high performance of the system significantly depends on the tendency of the farmers to insure their crops. This research has investigated the effective factors of acceptance or rejection of wheat product insurance by the farmers, with respect to the importance of crops insurance for decreasing of risk aversion and income stabilization of the farmers. This research was accomplished using the documentary and survey method of questionnaire completion by wheat producers of the Golestan province, at the 95-96 agricultural year, and was analyzed using the Logit pattern. Interpretations of the research results, in accordance with the Logit pattern, showed that the variables including farmer's work experiences, the number of family members, cultivated area, and satisfaction from obligations of the fund, were the effective parameters on the wheat product insurance demand by the farmers the Golestan province.
