Abstract

Undoubtedly, having borders that are controlled and devoid of tension and crisis is a leading factor for every government to bring security to a country and practice required rules. It will also reduce abuse by domestic and foreign enemies. Thus securing and saving border villages is a major concern in each country. Given this view the present study aimed at investigating the role of border in security of rural areas adjacent to border in Hirmand .This descriptive research was based on investigating library resources field studies and questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using kendalles correlation coefficient in the SPSS software. the results of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between the political – security dimension and levels of distance of the villages with the border considering kendalles correlation coefficient (0.573)and the error level lower than(0.0.1%).It was also indicated from the results that there is a significant relationship between the socioeconomic dimension and levels of distance of the villages with border considering kendalles correlation coefficient(0.571)and the error level lower than(0.01%)
