Abstract
Nowadays, special consequences for the inhabitants of indigenous areas have been identified through the expansion of international migration which include binational marriages. An example of this can be seen in the issue of marriage of Afghan refugees with Iranian women in Jiroft which has produced a different level of quality of life in the community. Accordingly, it is necessary to examine the role of binational marriages living in rural areas on the quality of life of villagers in Jiroft. This research is a descriptive-analytic study carried out using a survey method. The participants of this study is inhabitants of four villages with Afghan population in Jiroft region. Based on the Cochran formula, among 403 households, 197 individuals were selected as sample population and were questioned by random method. Regarding the results of regression analysis, the impact of each indicator on the quality of life is not the same. As the beta regression coefficient shows, environmental and social indicators have a greater impact on the quality of life of Iranian-Afghan couples than the other factors with coefficient of 0/478 and 0/271, respectively. And according to the average of two groups (Iranian- Afghan couples, Iranian-Iranian couples), quality of life in Iranian couples is more favorable.
