Abstract
As the rural areas are a place for agricultural and husbandry activities in a wide range, the development of rural industries in the rural areas of the country seems essential. Agricultural products are prone to decay very soon. For this reason, even if the best and highest quality products are being produced, the waste must be avoided through processing. Thus, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the role of processing agricultural products in rural development is Bardaskan Township. The present research used descriptive analytical approach, based on field and library studies (questionnaire) and searching web databases. To analyze the data, the SPSS and ArcGIS10 software were used. The results showed that processing of agricultural products with a %99 confidence level boosts the lives of villagers in three dimensions of economic, social and physical environment. Moreover, according to the frequency distribution of respondents, processing agricultural products has been effective in job and income creation with a %99 confidence level and 4 degrees of freedom. The indicator temporary job creation measured by the chi-square test two, with an average of 99/2 indicator is allocated to the highest weight
