Abstract

symbolism was based as one of the most important literary schools in the late 19th century by Charles Boulder. This was rebellion against realism school and in fact symbolic expression within and beyond the real world.In this way the expression of the words are not emotional but also they induce and enthuse feeling. people like Paul orlan, Arthur Rambo, and Stephen malarmeh consider as of the most famous nsymbolist religions.In the contemporary Arab poets Saadi Yousef is one of Iraqi poets, in which his works is to transfer the deeper concepts and explicit expression of the political_ social thoughts to the audience;he has gained a lot of benefit of the symbol. The present research tries that the symbols used in the poems of Saadi Youssef examined with relying on the method of descriptive_analytical examined.In The early review this result was reached that social and political factors and social, the most important reason of Saadi Youssef is taking refuge in symbolic language and in the meantime natural symbols are carrying the most Share in bear meanings.
