Abstract

Important part of our country’s population resides in rural areas. The historical record demonstrates the significant role of villagers in developing countries. Attention to the physical development and Satisfy of needs appropriate with the necessities of life and providing of appropriate environment and housing supply in rural areas is inevitable. How sustainable development is an issue that has preoccupied the minds of the rural planners and numerous questions such as how to achieve practical and theoretical frameworks in the field of physical design, exploitation of knowledge of construction and new technologies, efficient materials of security considerations, rural management and such it are located in front of them. Accordingly, one of the areas that because of the proximity of foreign lands are always threatened is the border areas. Arrangements and measures to reduce vulnerability of rural areas against physical threats are operating within non-defense. The purpose of this study was to analyze the pattern of non-defense operating in the rural settlements in the village of Mohammad Abad region on Shibe-Aab in Zabol. Method was based in descriptive study - an analysis that data be collected by searching in documents of library, field observations, questionnaires, etc. Information obtained was analysis using SPSS software. Statistical population was 30 villages of Mohammad Abad region that were over 20 families. Descriptive statistics about safety of locations showed that According to averages obtained in studied locations, highest average was related education places with 11.3 percent and lowest average was related entertainment areas with 11.3 percent. In addition, logistic test results about safety of locations showed that there are significant differences between studied places (P=≤%5)
