Abstract

Crime and deviation of official norms has a history dating back to human life and it has been of interest to scholars from very ancient times. Actually crime and deviation is a dangerous light which reflects shortcomings and weaknesses of society and usually has different causes. Rural areas are also not exempt from this phenomenon and especially that crime and deviation has increased in rural areas of Iran in recent years. So this research aims to investigate the kind and distribution of crimes in rural Areas of Nimrooz city during the seasons of the year. In this research ‚ research method is descriptive₋ analytical ‚ based on documentary and field studies. Data analysis is done through SPSS software and to test the hypothesis ‚ANOVA examinations ‚ post hoc Scheffe‚ Kruskal Wallis‚ Spearman correlation coefficient and path analysis test were used. The general results of research hypotheses show the fact that: according to the significant level of ANOVA examination which is 0.000 and also the results of post hoc Scheffe test which showed us the difference rate of crime during different seasons compared to others the kind of crimes in rural areas of Nimrooz city during seasons is differentand with regard to significant level of Kruskal Wallis test which is 0.000‚ distribution of crime in rural areas of Nimrooz city is different during seasons of the year. Also the rate of correlation coefficient of economic indicators(0.995) is high and path analysis test shows that the kind of crimes in rural areas of Nimrooz city mainly affected by economic factors.
