Abstract

One of phenomenon that current society is being faced is globalization phenoemenon. Extreme and dimentions ofthis phenomenon is so extreme that has been influenced all facets of life including, science, technology, culture, scociaty, politic, and economic. Nowadays, consistent adaptation of urban system as a open system with modern conditions and external evolotions provide this condition that in globalization realm put more attention toward characterization of people and factors influencing space organization, and urban system. As urbans always are on the heart of all evaluations and national, and sueprnational phenomena; Mashhad as the second religouse metropolice of Islam world has not been excepted and globalization wave has been nfluence all aspects specially urban development and dominated urban planning thoughts in a way that most of these impacts is observable. The study tries to recognize conditions of metropolice Mashhad, poecials and obstacle of role execution in realm of glocalization based on comments of of citizenship, experts, directors and FAHP model. Fururemore, to reach to a administration guideline by use of SWOT model. Conducted analyses represents that metropolice Mashhad as the second religouse metropolice of Islamic world, has a weak position in chains of global urbans and for raising of position needs of regular planning from urban executers.
